The site of our August 18, 2005 investigation was an old church that is now the "Rialto Historical Society Museum" at 201 N. Riverside Ave in Rialto, California.  The church was built around 1901.  It's a very stylish building with design elements that really enhance the personal experience and probably enhance paranormal experiences.  Even though it's a fairly small building, it's easy to become disoriented and get yourself lost.  Inside the church basement, there are hundreds of historic artifacts, from a Louisville Slugger, to an antique doll collection, spinning wheel, telephone switchboard, and the old tricycle hiding under a table.

The stories of this building are endless.  From a vaporous apparition seen by two police officers, to disembodied sobbing, voices, and footsteps, to objects being moved, and the image of a little girl looking out a window.

The investigation got started late, as usual, so we didn't have as much time on-site we normally would.  And technical problems limited the amount of data we were able to broadcast.

The site in question was an old church that is now the "Rialto Historical Society Museum" at 201 N.

Their is a memorial inside to a little girl, Kristina Henrickson, whose ashes were kept in the church after her death in 1967.  The little girl in the window bore a striking resemblance to the painting and photograph of Kristina.  Psychics report the presence of multiple entities in nearly every part of the building.  There is even a store room where one psychic becomes fearful and compelled to leave.

Some time ago, two psychics were brought in at separate times without being told of the other psychic.  Both psychics reportedly described suprisingly similar information and details.  The BIM team actually had an opportunity to walk around with both psychics trying to capture EVP's or other phenomenon that they might lead us to.  Before the investigation, we spent almost an hour interviewing both psychics regarding their experiences at the church and the paranormal world in general.

We will be reviewing all the data over the next several weeks and compiling a summary of our findings.  We will also be printing excerpts from the manuscript written by the President of the Rialto Historical Society about his paranormal experiences and several others.

Because of the very unusal rush that we were in to get this investigation in and the lack of desired camera coverage, BIM may decide to return on a weekend and perform a followup investigation.

Check back here for more information.

The BIM Team is gearing up for another "Live Paranormal Investigation". We are scheduled for Thursday August 18th at 8pm PST. The site is an old church built back in the very early 1900's. It is our understanding that a few have died in the church and there have been many that have witnessed strange happenings inthe church. A book (a kind of collection of experiences in the church) has been written about the church and is in the process of being published. Please check back for the location history, etc...

The BIM Team setup 4 cameras to broadcast and record in the old church. Once Brian started to fire up the console base systems, we knew it was going to be one of those mad rush investigations. Two of the cameras simply would not load the images to the transmitting system, but they recorded just fine. One of the DVR's started to reboot over and over. Some of the battery operated equipment had to have the batteries changed even though everything had new batteries before we headed out to the church. So, we swapped the batteries, changed cameras, cables, power supplies and DVR's and began our investigation... 90 minutes late!!!   And yes, the BIM Team does carry backup systems (2 trucks full of equipment) for just such failures.

Brian and Jim brought up the systems and gained a transmitting signal strong enough to allow the broadcast to commence.

Irma conducted the interviews with the two psychics and the Rialto Historical Society President. Steve was given a complete walk through with all three to find out exactly where most of the paranormal activity occurs. This information was not given to the rest of the BIM Team (other than the suggested camera placements) as we did not want to have any preconceive experiences during the investigation.

Chris, Joe and Anthony measured the building, tested the electrical and ran a base reading for temp, ESD and EMF in the buildings many rooms.

There were a few electrical outlets that were tested as having either incorrect wiring or the socket was simply not working.

We had to contend with the noise of a train crossing only a half a block away and it seemed to pass by hourly if not more often.

Traffic on the main street was heavy and therefore the noise from that added to the many obsticles in this investigation.

A quick note giving credit where it is due. Many thanks to the Rialto Police Department for stepping up the patrols around the church. They have no idea how much this was appreciated and how much it helped the BIM Team focus on the investigation... THANK YOU!!!

The temp inside the building averaged 81 degrees F, and it was very humid.

The lights were dimmed (but not turned off) at 21:30 PST and the investigation started.
