The BIM Team will be assisting PRI on Friday and Saturday (Feb 3rd and 4th) on the investigation of the Queen Mary. BIM will BROADCAST the event as usual. We are expected to begin the investigation at midnight PST Friday for four hours and the same on Saturday.
This should be an interesting joint investigation to say the least as this will be the first time the two teams will be working together and the ship is huge (they claim the Titanic could fit in the hull of the Queen Mary) and there are so many claimed haunted spots aboard.
The Queen Mary has added a "Titanic Exhibit" that has some of the guests and employees experiencing strange thigs as well.
For those of you that are movie buffs, the pool area (which we will have a camera covering) was used in the movie "Ghost Ship."
Some of the more specific areas we will be covering:
- October 2, 1942 Queen Mary collides with British light cruiser CURACOA. The Bow of the ship suffered severe damage. 70 tons of cement are used to temporarily patch the bow in Gourock, Scotland. Over 300 killed aboard the Queen Mary.
- The first-class swimming pool where many have reported wet foot prints (even though the pool is dry), women in vintage swimwear walking about, voices of people swimming and playing.
- The stateroom that is no longer rented to guests due to it having too many guests complain of the bed covers being pulled off while they sleep. The room was part of the "TAPS" investigation where they claimed that someone (guest, QM staff, etc...) messed with their camera.
Join us for the broadcast either online either online or onboard. See you there!
