Hi Patie,
Welcome to the forum. The restaurant is off the 15fwy, south of the 91fwy in Corona. As a courtesy to the owner for being so kind to let us hold an investigation, we will not list the exact location without the owners permission. If he allows it, we will give the details of the location.
As for what happened, we had a few things that were suspect in our eyes.
We did have several thermal measurements in the 50 degree range. The ambient air temperature was 74-75 degrees.
The same areas that had temp changes also triggered a reading on the EMF meters.
Keep in mind that we did make a clean sweep of the building before starting the actual investigation and found no electromagnetic fields, wiring faults, air flows and the air conditioning was not turned on.
We did have a couple of candles extinguish and when we relit them, one of the candles had a flame that measured 52 degrees. We took a couple of pictures of the candle at that point and the picture shows the flame that appears to be doing loops.
Brian became very ill in one spot of the kitchen of the restaurant. It became serious enough to the point that we removed him from the kitchen and made him rest at the base. Once he was away from that spot, he felt fine. We had him go back (yeah, we're kind of evil that way) to the same spot several times and each time he had the same feeling of a strong tight grip on his chest. After a short while the spot moved and we were able to follow it (by way of Brian suffering... Yeah, he could have had a heart attack, but hey, it was for a good cause, right?) through the building. The last place Brian felt the squeezing of his chest was at the spot where we had the candle that gave us the strange pictures and very strange temp readings.
The entire story is in the current issue of Beyond Investigation Magazine along with the police and court documents concerning the murder. The most eerie part of the story is what we found after we had completed our investigation.
Patie, we do hope that you register and become a member of the BIM site. Also, we are about to hold a live (no pun intended) investigation where you can be a part of the complete investigation over the internet.
Thanks again for your interest...
