We have been receiving questions about a relatively new device dubbed the "Ghost Radar". What is this new gadget? How does it work? How can I get one to use on a ghost hunt?
Well, before you all go out spending your time and money on the device you might want to listen up. The BIM Team is always looking at new technology and when word of a new piece of equipment that might help in our never ending quest for answers comes out, we jump on it right away.
A call was made to the U.S. Distributer of the "Ghost Radar" and before we could get to the meat of the technical questions, we were informed that in fact the "Ghost Radar" is simply a novelty item. It has NO radar properties and the only thing it does it beep and light the LED's at random, hence the "GhostRadar is a novelty item " and "GhostRadar is recommended for spooky late nights alone at your computer"... "The device has a proximity detector circuit that simply triggers the beeps and LED's once in a while."
So unfortunately folks, other than the flash card properties (to store computer data via the USB port, it is simply a novelty noise and light maker....
Trust us, we are just as bummed out as you are...
