The BIM Team has quite a few items we are working on at the moment. We have added new equipment, new procedures and we are working with a production company.  Needless to say, we have been spread pretty thin the past few weeks.

Some of the added equipment and procedure changes are listed in detail below.

The BIM Team is working on paranormal investigation dates for a couple of places which should be locked in for broadcast soon. Once the agreements are signed, the dates, times and location history will be posted.

Equipment:

• Video Baluns. These Balanced to Unbalanced transformers allow us to reach up to 1000ft and possibly beyond on all of our DVR IR cameras.
• Boteye Console (DVR, Broadcaster, multi-channel digital audio recorder). The new console is smaller and weighs about 1/5 as much as the first console. THANKS BOTEYE!!!
• Wireless Video/Audio transceivers. The rated line of site distance is 5000ft. We have tested these through several walls of buildings with no signal loss at all.
• Two new types of communication radios and radio traffic recorder. The different types give us a larger choice of frequencies and the option of VOX as well.

Procedures:

• Radio communications are maintained with NASA protocol.
• Pre-investigation, Pre-setup, setup, investigation procedures in place to limit the setup time and maximize the investigation time, as well as boost the quality of information.
